Dengue claims one life, 169 hospitalised in 24hrs
One death and 169 fresh cases were reported from dengue in 24 hour till Saturday morning, raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh 29 and number of confirmed cases to 5,739 this year.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in recent fatalities, one was reported in Chattogram Division (out of city corporation).
Besides, Barishal Division alone reported 101 new cases, Chattogram Division (outside city corporations) recorded 28 cases, Dhaka Division (outside city corporations) reported five, while 19 cases were detected in Dhaka South City Corporation, 16 in Dhaka North City Corporation.

Currently, 633 dengue patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.
Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 575 people.

Dengue: 108 fresh cases reported in 24hrs
A total of 108 new dengue cases were reported across the country in 24 hours till Thursday morning, raising the number of confirmed cases to 5,411 since the beginning of this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Barishal Division again (outside city corporation areas) reported the highest number of new infections, with 89 fresh cases.
The latest data shows that Chattogram Division (outside city corporations) recorded four cases, Dhaka Division (outside city corporations) reported three, while 10 cases were detected in Dhaka South City Corporation, one in Dhaka North City Corporation and another one in Rajshahi Division (outside of city corporation).
However, no new fatalities were reported during this period.

A total of 288 new dengue cases were reported across the country in 24 hours till Wednesday morning, raising the number of confirmed cases to 5,303 since the beginning of this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Barishal Division (outside city corporation areas) reported the highest number of new infections, with 261 fresh cases.
The latest data shows that Chattogram Division (outside city corporations) recorded 11 cases, Dhaka Division (outside city corporations) reported one, while 12 cases were detected in Dhaka South City Corporation.
Besides, Mymensingh Division (outside city corporations) logged two new cases; Rajshahi Division (outside city corporations) recorded one.

Dengue spike: 114 cases reported in 24 hrs
Dengue case has been increasing across the country regularly, growing concern over the mosquito-borne disease.
One hundred and fourteen more new dengue cases were reported in the 24 hours till Tuesday morning, bringing the total number of cases to 4,700 this year.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), new cases were reported as follows: 73 in Barishal Division (Out of CC), three in Chattogram Division (Out of CC), two in Khulna, one in Mymensingh (Out of CC), three in Rajshahi (Out of CC), 14 Dhaka Division (Out of CC), six in Dhaka North City Corporation and 12 in Dhaka South City Corporation.

A total of 147 new dengue cases were reported across the country in 24 hours till Sunday morning, raising the number of confirmed cases to 4,492 since the beginning of this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Barishal Division (outside city corporation areas) reported the highest number of new infections, with 89 fresh cases.
The latest data shows that Chattogram Division (outside city corporations) recorded 20 cases, Dhaka Division (outside city corporations) reported 10, while three cases were detected in Dhaka North City Corporation and 13 in Dhaka South City Corporation.
Besides, Khulna Division (outside city corporations) logged two new cases, Rajshahi Division (outside city corporations) recorded nine, and Rangpur Division (outside city corporations) confirmed one case.

Dengue: 120 more dengue cases reported in 24hrs
One hundred and twenty more new dengue cases were reported in the 24 hours till Wednesday morning, bringing the total number of cases to 4,240 this year.
Of the newly reported cases, 20 were from areas under the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), eight under the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), and the remaining 92 from outside the capital, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Barishal Division reported the highest number with 69 cases, followed by 11 in Chattogram, five in Rajshahi, three each in Dhaka and Khulna, and one in Mymensingh Division. All the cases from these divisions were reported from areas outside the city corporation.
