The Israeli military has said that Iran fired 30 missiles at Israel earlier this morning.
According to a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), most of the incoming missiles were intercepted, although some did hit their targets.
The BBC has noted that a new wave of Iranian strikes has hit central Israel, as Tehran retaliates against Israel’s ongoing attacks on its military facilities and other infrastructure.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump left the G7 summit in Canada earlier than scheduled. The White House stated he returned to Washington due to “important matters.”
Shortly after boarding Air Force One, Trump posted on his Truth Social platform, denying claims by French President Emmanuel Macron that his early departure was linked to ceasefire efforts. “It certainly has nothing to do” with that and is “much bigger,” he wrote.
